Beauty in the storm

What does the version of you after this is all over look like? What are you doing? How are you different? I believe we are all coming out of this a better version than ourselves. We all know of all the negative side effects of what’s happening as a result of this pandemic. The media feeds the negative and this Instills fear and panic. That’s why it’s so important to stay grounded and rooted in God so we are staying in faith and getting the most out of this unprecedented time. Join me as we journey though this together. Setting intentions, declaring prayers, and renewing our minds as we daily strengthen our faith and grow together in God.

“ If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NLT)

April 22, 2020 God, thank you for being my healer. Thank you for being my protector. We know that the world is in the palm of your hands. We know that you care for us lord. Please forgive me of all my sins. Please help me resist anything that is not pleasing to you. I surrender everything to you God. May your will be done in my life lord and on this earth. Change my heart God. Help me see the world the way you want me to see it. Give me eyes to see what is pleasing to you father. I release fear and anxiety because you didn’t give me the spirit of fear. Bless my loved ones God. Protect them in your mighty precious name from sickness. No weapon formed against them shall prosper God. Bless the sick, elderly and essential workers. Cover them in the name of Jesus. I humble myself before you. I am nothing with you.

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”

Sometimes it feels like God is far. Ever feel like when you’re praying there is a wall? Like no one is listening. It can very discouraging but that’s because our ego makes us feel this way. Spirit knows we are always connected to God. We are made in his image and it is impossible to be separate because he literally exists in us. When you feel like God is far ask yourself what it is separating you from him. He’s always there but sin can make him feel more distant at times or maybe we just need to spend more time seeking his presence. The Bible says we should draw near him and he will hear us. We just have to trust that he is there even when it feels like he is not there.

God, please forgive me of all my sins. I know that sometimes you feel far but you’re right here with me. Sin separates us from you but I know that because of your grace I am forgiven. You’re so good. Thank you for making my sins white as snow. I need you. I desire a relationship with you. I trust that there is no need to worry because you’re right by my side, ordering each step. The enemy wants me to feel like you’re far so he can can keep your promises from me but I know he is a liar. You’re right here even in the darkness. Thank you for loving me and accepting me. I surrender anxiety and feeling like you’re far away as I draw near to you. Amen

“ Call those things which are not as though they were” (Romans 4:17)

April 23,2020: I really love this scripture “Call those things which are not as though they were.” Im just now realizing that affirmations really started in the Bible. Saying I AM_____ is So powerful because we are calling what’s not as if it already is ours and it puts us in the mindset of what it feels like to already have what we desire. We are declaring we already have what we want. This is the key to faith and receiving what it is we are praying for. We must call the things that aren’t as if they already are and believe it’s already happened. This makes sense to me because in heaven there is no sense of time. Time is an allusion. This means the moment we ask God for something he already saw it come to past. He is all knowing so he knows our past, present, and future. If we truly want to please God and for him to answer our prayers we must come to him with a humble heart trusting he knows what’s best. Asking him for clarity and direction. If we seek him first then he will order our steps so affirm what you want but be open to it being different and or better than expected to step into the fullness of who God created you to be.

Today God I declare healing over my entire family in the name of Jesus. Thank you for keeping everyone in my family safe. Thank you for protecting them. I plead the mighty name of Jesus over them. I ask that you bless the elders lord God, bless the children, and bless everyone who is most at risk. You said to “call those things that aren’t as if they already are” so I thank you God for healing across this nation, cures, and breakthroughs. I thank you that every knee shall bow and more people will turn to you as a result of this. Thank you for giving me peace and wisdom that surpasses understanding. You’re the answer to every solution so I trust in you. I won’t worry about what I cannot control. You’re in control my abba father and prince of peace.
